PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia Launching of the 1st “ Water Well “ program
Indonesia, Jakarta, June 24th, 2011: Today Atlas Copco Indonesia inaugurates the 1st. “ Water Well ‘ facility. The first success in providing clean water is an appreciation and commitment of the whole employees of PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia in line with Water for All program has been announced by the Atlas Copco Group.

Working together with local NGO Rumah Zakat Fundrising, PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia hopes the program will continue to be implemented for next “ Water Well “ . We expect the existence of PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia may also help mankind and the environment. Because "Corporate Responsibility" is now part of the competitive position of any company in the world economy and social development, and we have an important role together as well as organizations and individuals we represent, Said Poento Djatmiko as Business Line Manager on be half PT. Why Atlas Copco Group is focused and make the "Water of All " theme on our Corporate Responsibility ? Because water is essential for life, but billions of people suffer from limited access to this vital necessity.“ Water for All “ operates with the motto that clean drinking water is a human right and seeks to raise funds to support projects that provide clean drinking water for people in need. The organization was originally founded by Atlas Copco employees in Sweden in 1984. This is based on Atlas Copco Group report.
In addition of “Water Well" program, PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia has a scholarship program given to orphaned children. At least 30 children have received scholarships from this program.
